Description
Centropogon genus members are small to medium-sized fish that inhabit tropical and subtropical reefs. They are recognized by their elongated bodies, large mouths, and the presence of venomous spines on their dorsal fins. These fish are nocturnal, hiding in crevices during the day and emerging at night to feed on crustaceans and small fish.
