Pygmy Killer Whale [Feresa]
Description
The genus Feresa is known for the Pygmy Killer Whale (Feresa attenuata), which, despite its name, is more closely related to other dolphins than to killer whales. They are small, with a dark grey color and a rounded head. Pygmy killer whales are elusive and prefer deep waters in tropical and subtropical oceans. They are known to be aggressive in the wild, both towards other species and within their own social groups.
