African Elodea [Lagarosiphon major]

Description
Lagarosiphon major, commonly known as African Elodea, is a submerged aquatic plant native to southern Africa. It has slender, elongated leaves that are arranged in a spiral pattern along the stem. The leaves are typically dark green in color, and the plant produces small, inconspicuous flowers. It is a highly invasive species and can form dense mats that impede water flow and displace native vegetation. It is commonly found in lakes, ponds, and slow-moving rivers.
