Kuhnia scombroides [Kuhnia scombroides]

Description
This species is less well-known and lacks a common name. It is characterized by a body shape similar to that of mackerels (family Scombridae), hence the species name 'scombroides'. The species is known to inhabit the deeper waters of the Pacific, ranging from Japan to the Philippines. The diet of Kuhnia scombroides largely consists of small fish and invertebrates.
