Bottlebrush Coral [Acropora echinata]

Description
Bottlebrush Coral is a species of acroporid coral that was first described by Dana in 1846. Found in tropical shallow reefs on the slopes and flat areas, it can reach up to 30 to 40cm in length and diameter. It is listed as a vulnerable species on the IUCN Red List, and it is thought to have a decreasing population.
