Description
The Slender Flounder is a relatively small flatfish that is native to the North Pacific Ocean. It can be found in the waters off the coast of Japan and Russia, as well as in the Bering Sea. These flounder typically inhabit sandy or muddy bottoms at depths of up to 375 meters. They are characterized by their elongated, thin bodies and their distinctive left-eyed flounder configuration. This species is primarily nocturnal and feeds on a diet of small invertebrates.
