Stout Moray [Gymnothorax eurostus]

Description
The Stout Moray, scientifically known as Gymnothorax eurostus, is a marine species that is part of the Muraenidae family. It can be found in the Indo-West Pacific region, specifically in areas around southern Japan, New Caledonia, and the Great Barrier Reef. This species lives in outer reef slopes and can be found in depths up to 45 meters. Stout Morays are characterized by their elongated, snake-like bodies that can reach up to 65 cm in length. They have a dark brown to blackish color and are known for their small eyes and large mouth.
