Asian Water Monitor Polystomoides [Polystomoides asiaticus]
Description
This parasitic flatworm is found in the urinary bladder of the Asian water monitor, Varanus salvator. It is specially adapted to its aquatic environment and features a distinct elongated body, suckers, and reproductive system. It is predominant in South and Southeast Asia.
