Description
The Australian Flathead, or Long-headed Flathead, is a marine fish species endemic to Australia. It inhabits sandy and rubble substrates of coastal waters and estuaries. Distinguished by its elongated head, the fish has a mottled brown appearance, which serves as excellent camouflage in its natural environment. Its diet mainly consists of small fish and invertebrates.
