Bahamas Sawshark [Pristiophorus schroederi]

Description
The Bahamas Sawshark, Pristiophorus schroederi, is a sawshark of the family Pristiophoridae, found in the western Atlantic Ocean around the Bahamas and Cuba. They are a rare species, living at depths of 640 to 915 m. Their length is up to 77 cm. They have 19-22 large rostral teeth in front of the nostrils. It is ovoviviparous, with only two pups per litter.
