Banded Eurete Crab [Eurete bidentatus]

Description
The Banded Eurete Crab, or Eurete bidentatus, is a smaller species of hermit crab found in the waters of the Indian Ocean. Its name comes from the distinctive bands of color that run across its body and legs. They are known to be highly adaptable, capable of thriving in a range of salinities and depths. This species is omnivorous, consuming both plant material and small organisms. Banded Eurete Crabs are solitary, typically only interacting with other crabs during mating season.
