Bleeker's variegated lanternshark [Ebosia bleekeri]

Description
This species is a small shark in the family Etmopteridae. Found in the western Pacific Ocean around Japan, Taiwan, and the Philippines, it usually stays within the depths of 200 to 500 meters. The Bleeker's variegated lanternshark is characterized by its dark body color with numerous small, black and white spots.
