Blue and gold snapper [Lutjanus viridis]

Description
Blue and gold snapper is a species of snapper native to the eastern Pacific Ocean. It inhabits rocky and coral reefs at depths from 3 to 35 m. Its diet consists mainly of small fishes and benthic invertebrates. It is a medium-small fish that can reach a maximum length of 80 cm.
