Cape Elephantfish [Callorhinchus capensis]

Description
The Cape Elephantfish, also known as the Cape Ghost Shark, is found in the southeast Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of South Africa. They inhabit the outer continental shelf and upper slope, at depths of 180-500 meters. It has a long, pointed snout and a silvery-grey body. This species can reach a length of 120 cm. Their diet consists mainly of crustaceans and small fishes.
