Common Lionfish [Pterois miles]

Description
Common Lionfish, also known as the Devil Firefish, is a species of ray-finned fish native to the western Indo-Pacific region. They have also been introduced into the Atlantic and are considered an invasive species. The species has distinctive brown or maroon, and white stripes or bands covering the head and body. They have fleshy tentacles above their eyes and below the mouth, pectoral fins that are fan-like, and long, separated dorsal spines.
