Description

The Common Striped Dolphin is distinguished by its characteristic blue and white stripes running along the length of the body. They inhabit warm temperate and tropical waters of all the world's oceans. This species is highly social and often seen in large pods of up to several hundred individuals. They are known for their acrobatic behavior and can often be seen leaping and riding swells and ship bow waves.
