Eastern Spinner Dolphin [Stenella longirostris orientalis]

Description
The Eastern Spinner Dolphin is a subspecies of the Spinner Dolphin found in the eastern tropical Pacific Ocean. It is known for its acrobatic displays in which it spins along its longitudinal axis as it leaps through the air. It has a slender body with a long beak. The dorsal area is dark grey, the sides light grey and the underside pale grey or white. It feeds mainly on small fish and squid.
