Description
The Grey Mullet, also known as the Thicklip Grey Mullet, is a species of mullet that is widely distributed through the North Atlantic and the Mediterranean Sea. These fish are generally found in inshore waters, estuaries, and rivers, showing a tolerance for various salinity levels. They are omnivorous, primarily feeding on algae and detritus. With their thick lips, they can easily collect food particles from the water. They are silver-grey in color with a darker back and a white belly.
