Description
The North Atlantic Right Whale is a large, stout whale that can reach lengths of up to 16 meters. It is characterized by its black color, lack of dorsal fin, and large, paddle-shaped flippers. Its most distinguishing feature are the rough patches of skin, known as callosities, on its head. These whales are slow swimmers and spend most of their time near the surface. They inhabit the North Atlantic Ocean and are typically found in coastal waters.
