Pacific Sixgill Shark [Hexacapsula pacifica]

Description
The Pacific Sixgill Shark is a deep-water species, typically found at depths between 180 and 1100 meters. This species is often recognized by its notable six gills, unlike most other sharks which have five. It can grow up to 4.8 meters in length, and has a broad, pointed head and large green eyes. It is a slow-moving but efficient predator, primarily feeding on other fish, squid, and crabs.
