Reticulate Whipray [Himantura uarnak]

Description
This species is found in the Indo-Pacific region from the Red Sea and South Africa to the Solomon Islands, north to Japan, south to Australia. It is usually seen on sand or mud substrates of lagoons, estuaries, and rivers. It has an oval-shaped pectoral fin disk, eyes are elevated and the snout is angular and moderately long. It is known to be a benthic species that feeds on small fish and invertebrates.
