Short-tailed River Stingray [Potamotrygon brachyura]

Description
The Short-tailed River Stingray is native to the Parana-Paraguay and Uruguay River basins. It is a freshwater stingray with a round disc shape and a short tail, typically growing up to one meter in length. The color varies from light brown to black with small white spots. It has a dangerous sting which can be fatal to humans.
