Sicklefin Lemon Shark [Negaprion acutidens]

Description
The Sicklefin Lemon Shark is a species of requiem shark, found mainly in the coastal waters of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Characterized by its sickle-shaped pectoral fins and second dorsal fin, this species can grow up to 3.8 meters in length. It is a nocturnal predator feeding mainly on bony fishes, but also preys on cephalopods and crustaceans. This species is known to form aggregations, and also displays a strong preference for specific locations.
