Description
Chiropsalmus buitendijki, or the South China Sea Box Jellyfish, is a venomous species found predominantly in the South China Sea. Like other box jellyfish, it possesses a cube-shaped bell and tentacles equipped with cnidocytes that deliver venom to its prey. The species is known for its blue to light purple coloration.
