Southern Water Starwort [Althenia orientalis]

Description
Althenia orientalis, commonly known as the Southern Water Starwort, is a species of Althenia native to Australia. It is a submerged aquatic plant found in brackish and freswater habitats. This species has a thin, creeping stem and produces small, white flowers. It is characterized by its narrow, linear leaves which are usually less than 2 mm wide.
