Description

This species of pufferfish is small and grows up to 6.5 cm (2.5 inches). The Spotted Pufferfish has a light brown body with darker spots and a white belly. Its habitat includes marine and brackish waters, where it is a benthic species. It is found predominantly in coastal waters, estuaries, and mangroves. It feeds mainly on invertebrates.
