Star Grass [Halophila engelmannii]

Description
This species of seagrass is native to the Western Atlantic and the Caribbean Sea. It is characterized by its narrow leaves arranged in pairs on the stem. The leaves are longer than those of other Halophila species, reaching up to 20 cm in length. It prefers a sandy substrate in clear waters.
