White-beaked Dolphin [Lagenorhynchus albirostris]

Description
The White-beaked Dolphin is a robust species of dolphin with a short beak. Adults can reach lengths of 2.5 to 3.1 meters and weigh 180 to 354 kilograms. They are typically black or dark grey with white or light grey markings on the body. This species is highly social and is often seen in groups of 10 to 20, although larger groups have been reported. They are known for their acrobatic behavior and are commonly seen breaching and riding swells and bow waves of vessels. White-beaked Dolphins are found in the cold temperate to subarctic waters of the North Atlantic Ocean.
