White-blotched River Stingray [Potamotrygon leopoldi]

Description
The White-blotched River Stingray, also known as Polka Dot Stingray, is a freshwater species found in the Xingu River basin in Brazil. They have a jet-black body with bright white or yellow spots, and can grow up to 40 cm in disc width. They are considered one of the most beautiful stingray species but also one of the most difficult to keep in captivity due to their specific requirements.
