Whitespotted Whipray [Himantura gerrardi]

Description
The Whitespotted Whipray is a species of stingray native to the Indo-Pacific region. It is commonly found on sandy or muddy bottoms in coastal waters and estuaries. It has a diamond-shaped pectoral fin disc, a whip-like tail and its body is covered with white spots. It is a nocturnal species, feeding on shrimp, crabs, and small fishes.
