Whitetip Reef Shark [Triaenodon obesus]

Description
Whitetip Reef Sharks are slender sharks, usually not exceeding 1.6 meters in length, known for their long, white-tipped, rounded fins. They are found mainly in coral reef environments and prefer to rest in caves during the day, becoming more active at night when they hunt. Unlike many other sharks, they do not need to swim constantly to breathe and can lie still on the ocean floor.
