Urinary Blood Fluke [Schistosoma haematobium]

Description
Schistosoma haematobium is a species of digenetic trematode, belonging to a group of blood flukes. It is found in the Middle East, India, and Africa. It infects the urinary tract of humans, causing urinary schistosomiasis, a disease associated with bladder cancer. The adult worm pairs live in the genital veins.
