Black Tegula [Tegula funebralis]

Description
The Black Tegula is a species of sea snail. It is characterized by its black or dark brown shell, which can reach a size of up to 35 mm. It inhabits rocky shores along the eastern Pacific Ocean, from Vancouver Island to Baja California. The species is often found in tide pools and feeds on algae.
