Flamboyant Cuttlefish [Metasepia pfefferi]

Description
This species of cuttlefish is found in tropical South-East Asia and Northern Australia. It is known for its striking coloration and displays, which include pulsating waves of bright pink, yellow, and white across its body. The Flamboyant Cuttlefish is one of the few cephalopods that live on the sea floor and 'walks' on its arms and fins. It also has a unique hunting strategy, using its colorful display to mesmerize prey before striking with its tentacles.
