Description

The Brazilian chiton is endemic to Brazil, particularly the states of Bahia and EspĂ­rito Santo. It is commonly found on rocky substrates in the intertidal and subtidal zones. This species has a distinctive shell with eight articulating plates covered with numerous small spines.
