Description
The Prickly Skate, or Mucrosquama szechuanensis, is a species of skate residing in the Pacific Ocean. These marine creatures are known for their rugged, prickly skin which serves as a protective measure against predators. The Prickly Skate is predominantly found in deep-sea environments, typically at depths between 200 and 1000 meters. Their diet is composed of both invertebrates and small fishes.
