Description
Elysia australis, commonly known as the Australasian Sap-Sucking Slug, is a species of sea slug, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Plakobranchidae. This species is found in the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific region, from the eastern coast of Australia to the islands of Hawaii. It inhabits coral reefs and rocky areas with abundant algal growth. The body is generally green, with a series of black or brown lines running along the length of the body. The body is elongate with a broad foot and parapodia that fold over the body.
