Australian volute [Notovoluta verconis]

Description
The Australian volute is a species of sea snail with a large, robust shell that can reach up to 150 mm in size. It has a deep orange color often with brown axial flames. The habitat of this species is the subtidal zone, often found in sandy substrates around southern Australia.
