Description
The Common Marginella, scientifically known as Volvarina philippii, is a small sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Marginellidae. It is found in the Western Atlantic from North Carolina to northeastern Brazil, living in subtidal and low intertidal zones. The species is characterized by its smooth, glossy shell that ranges in color from pink to orange-brown.
