Description
The Common Volvarina, or Volvarina mitrella, is a small sea snail found in the Indo-Pacific region. It is a benthic species that prefers sandy substrates in shallow to moderately deep waters. The species is characterized by its glossy, ovate shell, usually beige or pink with brown spots or bands.
