Convoluta pulchra [Convoluta pulchra]

Description
Also known as the beautiful convolutes, Convoluta pulchra is a species of marine flatworms found in the North Pacific Ocean, particularly on sandy shores from Alaska to California. They possess a transparent body that allows them to camouflage within their surroundings. These flatworms are acoelomates, meaning they lack a body cavity, and they have a mouth but no anus. They feed by ingesting sediments and extracting the organic matter.
