Deep Sea Monoplacophoran [Neopilina brummeri]

Description
The Deep Sea Monoplacophoran, or Neopilina brummeri, is a rare deep-sea mollusk species. Similar to other species in its genus, it has a small, cap-shaped shell and repeated internal organs. It is usually found in deep-sea environments at depths of around 5,000 meters. The behavior and diet of this species remain largely unknown due to the difficulty of studying these creatures in their natural habitat.
