Deep-sea worm [Yorkeria xiamenensis]

Description
Yorkeria xiamenensis is a species of priapulid worms that inhabits the deep sea, particularly in the Xiamen area in China. They are characterized by their elongated body and frontal spines. They live in the sediment of the seafloor where they feed on organic matter. They have a unique behavior of retracting their body into the sediment when threatened.
