Elongated Xenia [Xenia elongata]

Description
A species of soft coral found in the Red Sea and the western Indian Ocean. It is characterized by its elongated polyps, that can extend up to 10 cm long. The polyps are generally beige or light brown in color and pulse at quite a slow rate. They are found in shallow waters, often in sheltered areas with low water movement.
