Description
The Finely Ribbed Chiton is a marine mollusk found in the North Atlantic Ocean. It has a broad oval body with a gray or ash-colored shell divided into eight plates. It inhabits the lower and middle intertidal zones and can be found under rocks or in crevices. Its diet primarily consists of algae and detritus.
