Description
This species belongs to the family Proteocephalidae. It is found in the Yamuna river in India. The definitive host of this species is the freshwater catfish, Sperata seenghala. The species is characterized by a scolex with a single row of medium-sized, irregular rostellar hooks and four suckers.
