Giant File Clam [Acesta oophaga]

Description
The Acesta oophaga, commonly known as the Giant File Clam, is a species of marine bivalve mollusk found in the Eastern Pacific Ocean. They live in deep-water habitats, around 400-700 meters below the surface. The Giant File Clam has a large, rounded shell that can reach up to 20 cm in length. The shell exterior is rough, with a pale, off-white color.
