Description
Divarilima aurantiaca, commonly referred to as the Hairy File Shell, is a marine bivalve mollusk in the family Limidae. It is found in the Western Central Pacific, specifically in the Philippines. It has a distinct orange color and a hairy periostracum, hence the common name. It is typically found in depths of 20-50 meters, attached to hard substrates by byssus threads.
