Description
A medium-sized marine gastropod mollusk that inhabits the littoral zone and sublittoral zone, known for its elongated shell with axial ribs and a hairy appearance. Its shell color ranges from white to cream. It is found in the Western Atlantic from North Carolina to Brazil, including the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea.
