Junonia [Scaphella junonia]

Description
This species is a large sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Volutidae, the volutes. It is commonly found in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic coast of Florida. Its shell is brown with darker brown zigzag lines that become more pronounced as the snail ages. It is a carnivorous species that preys on other marine invertebrates.
